서울대학교-한국경제신문 공동기획 한국-베트남 수교 30주년 기념행사

아시아연구소 베트남센터는 베트남포럼, 한국경제신문, 경제연구소 국가경쟁력연구센터, 정치외교학부 10-10 사업단, 고려대학교 아사에문제연구소 아세안센터와 공동으로 한국-베트남 수교 30주년 기념행사를 개최할 예정입니다.
기념행사는 1부 세미나와 2부 비지니스 포럼으로 구성되어 있습니다. 1부 세미나는 “도이머이 이후 베트남 경제개혁의 정치경제”에 관한 학술토론이 예정되어 있습니다. 기조연설자는 풀브라이트 베트남대학(Đại học Fulbright Việt Nam) 학장이자 베트남총리 경제자문단 위원인 부타잉 뜨아잉 교수(Vu Thanh Tu Anh) 입니다. 뜨아잉 교수는 1990년대에 미국에서 도이머이를 주제로 경제학 박사학위를 받은 연구자로, 학술적, 정책적으로 베트남 시장개혁의 권위자로 알려져 있습니다. 기조연설에 이어 서강대학교 이한우 교수가 정치분야를, 대외경제연구원 곽성일 연구위원이 경제분야를 맡아 토론을 할 예정입니다. 센터는 베트남 고도성장의 정치적, 경제적 측면에 관해 전문가들이 귀중한 통찰을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대하고 있습니다. 1부는 영어로만 진행되며 통역이 제공되지 않습니다.
2부 비즈니스 포럼에서는 연합뉴스 특파원으로 하노이에 장시간 거주하며 베트남을 관찰했었고 베트남정부에서 우호훈장을 수훈하기도 한 김선한 기자의 사회로 진행됩니다. 기조연설자는 주한베트남대사관의 상무관인 팜비엣뚜언 입니다. 뚜언 상무관은 상무관으로 한국에 장기간 근무하면서 한국 기업인들에게 베트남 투자진출의 전문가로 널리 인정받고 있습니다. 기조연설에 이어, 베트남과 한국의 경제교류 첨병에 있는 기업인들의 라운드테이블이 예정되어 있습니다. 라운드 테이블에서는 포스코 인터내셔널의 이명철 이사. 현대건설기계의 변점석 상무, 브이케이 프론티어의 안희균 대표, 그린에그/콩카페코리아 조성빈 대표이사가 참석할 예정입니다. 이 기업인들은 각기 다른 시기에 각기 다른 분야에서 베트남에 투자했었습니다. 센터는 기업인들이 투자 경험을 바탕으로 한베 경제관계에 관해 생산적인 토론을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대하고 있습니다. 2부는 한국어로만 진행되며 통역이 제공되지 않습니다.
SNUAC Vietnam Center will hold the 30th-anniversary event of diplomatic relations between Korea and Vietnam in collaboration with the SNU Vietnam Forum, Korea Economic Daily, SNU National Competitiveness Research Center of the Economic Research Institute, SNU 10-10 Initiative of Political Science and International Relations, and the ASEAN Center of Korea University.
The event consists of a seminar session, “Political Economy of Vietnam’s Economic Reform after Doi Moi,” and a business forum, “History of Korean Firms’ Investment to Vietnam: Retrospective and Prospect.”
Professor Vũ Thành Tự Anh, Dean of Đại học Fulbright Việt Nam, and a member of the Economic Advisory Group to the Prime Minister of Vietnam is the keynote speaker of the seminar session. Prof. Tự Anh is known as an authority on Vietnamese market reform academically and politically. Following the keynote speech, Professor Han Woo Lee of Sogang University and Dr. Sungil Kwak of KIEP will discuss Vietnam’s reform from political and economic angles, respectively. We wish them to give us valuable insights into Vietnam’s journey to an economic powerhouse. The seminar session is in English only, and no interpretation is provided.
In the business forum, we have Consul Phạm Việt Tuấn from the Embassy of Vietnam to the Republic of Korea as a keynote speaker. Consul Tuấn has served in Korea as the officer of investment for many years and is one of the best experts on economic relations between Korea and Vietnam. After the Keynote speech, the roundtable of Korean business people will follow. Kim Sun Han, the former Yonhap News correspondent to Hà Nội, will moderate the roundtable. And we have four roundtable discussants: senior executive director Myung Chul Lee from POSCO International, executive director Jum Seok Byun from Hyundai Construction Equipment Co.,Ltd, CEO Hee Kyun Anh from VK Frontier, and CEO Sungbin Cho from Green Egg-Cong Cafe Korea. All of them have invested in Vietnam in various sectors at various times. So we expect these business people to give us productive discussions on the relationship between Korea and Vietnam.
